A resident of Orcas Island, I relocated from Berkeley in 2002. A native of Bremen, Germany, I hold a BA in Art Education from American University in Washington DC and an MA in Printmaking and Drawing from Northern Illinois University.
Presently most recognized as a turner of wooden bowls, boxes and rings, I bring a comprehensive artistic and design background to my work. I synthesize all to produce works combining aesthetic, utility and highly evolved craftsmanship.
My water colors represent my abstract impressions of reality.
