Orcas Island Artworks Gallery
ORCAS ISLAND ARTWORKS REOPENS FOR 2019
Orcas Island’s cooperative gallery opens its doors for its 39th season
Feb 20th. Please join us in welcoming four fabulous new artists:
Marty Bennett, wood sculpture; Timothy Blocksom, copper; Pam Jenkins,
pastel; and Zackaria Leck, metal. Open daily from 10am-5pm.
The Orcas Island Artworks Gallery is a favorite Orcas destination housed in a historic building on the island's East side. Built in 1938 as a strawberry barreling plant, the lovingly restored landmark now showcases the best of our island's crafts and fine art.
Home to an extensive collection of work by Orcas Island artists and craftspeople, the Artworks Gallery offers paintings, prints, jewelry, pottery, sculpture, glass, wood, fiber and wearable arts, as well as other locally made items and gifts.
We are now offering some of these treasures in our new Online Store . Please browse though our store selections for a variety of handmade items. And please drop by to see the gallery when you visit beautiful Orcas Island, Washington in the Pacific Northwest. Since the gallery is run by the artists themselves, you will be sure to meet at least one artist tending the store. Hours are 10am-5pm daily.
