BJ’s art is constantly evolving but always focused on color and shape. Her work currently on display at the Artworks is contemporary abstract painting done in a variety of media. Saturated colors and intertwined shapes in all types of media play together on her wall pieces.
BJ’s approach to her art is innovation based on fundamentals learned from years of studying drawing, figures, fiber art, composition and design. She and her husband Dick (also an Artworks artist) have lived on Orcas for over 24 years since retreating from their busy professional lives.
